Welcome to 20/20 Optix in Overland Park! Dr. Susan Poe and the 20/20 Optix team strive to provide the best in optometry services. 20/20 Optix is a full service eye and vision care provider, accepting both walk-in (as available) as well as scheduled appointments.
At 20/20 Optix, we will explain every exam and procedure and answer all of our patients' questions. Your eye health and vision is our top goal, you can count on 20/20 Optix to insure visual excellence, and quality eye care.
We are an open access office and see all patients regardless of any insurance. We do not file any claims on your behalf with vision 'insurance' plans or discount plans. However, we will happily give you an invoice with the proper procedure and diagnosis codes, along with a form to help you easily file a claim. We do not bill insurances directly and payment for services are due at the time of service.

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT?
It's easy to get an appointment at 20/20 Optix same-day! To get a same-day appointment, call us at (913 ) 217-2062. If our schedule isn't full, we'd love you to have you come in today!
HOW LONG DOES THE ENTIRE VISIT USUALLY LAST?
At 20/20 Optix, we realize that you have a very busy schedule, and appreciate your time greatly. To ensure a thorough examination, exams usually last 25 mins. Wait time depends on the schedule, but should be no more than 20 mins.
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?
Beginning February 1st, 2022, 20/20 Optix has changed to be an Open Access Office where we see all patients regardless of insurance. If you have vision coverage in addition to your medical insurance, we can give you an invoice with the procedures and diagnosis codes to make it easy to file for reimbursement from your insurance company. Because we will no longer be filing claims on your behalf, any coverage is contingent on your coverage and their contract with your employer.
WHY SHOULD I GET AN EYE EXAM?
An eye exam will check your vision to see if you need glasses to help you see better, but will also look for any problems with the health of your eyes. Often when eye diseases are found there are no symptoms, and the sooner problems are found the better the long term outcome.
