At 20/20 Optix, each member of our vision care team is carefully selected by Dr. Susan Poe based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients.
Our entire Overland Park optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient. Our knowledgeable staff at 20/20 Optix will work with you to help you understand your vision insurance coverage and provide financial alternatives to ensure you get the best vision care possible.

DR. SUSAN POE
Dr. Susan Poe is a native Hoosier and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University. While at IU, she was a graduate assistant in the contact lens lab. She completed internships in ocular disease, contact lens, and primary care; including working with the Army’s 67th combat support hospital in Germany. Dr. Poe has 25 years experience in optometric medical practice and loves seeing patients of all ages. She feels fortunate to have been able to use her skills in Cuba and Honduras, completing four vision clinics through Volunteer Optometrists Serving Humanity. Dr. Poe and her husband, Brian, live in Shawnee and have three children; Lydia, Adam and Kristen.
PETRA
You’ll find Petra at the front desk, greeting patients with a warm smile and a can‑do attitude. With her experience and ease, she guides patients smoothly through optical pre‑testing and helps set the tone for a comfortable visit. When she’s away from the office, Petra loves cheering on her granddaughter at volleyball games, spending time outdoors, and enjoying moments with family and friends.
CAMEO
One of the smiling faces that will greet you is Cameo. Cameo recently joined our office after being a homemaker for several years. She will help you through optical pre-testing, setting appointments, and provide positive customer service to our patients. In her free time, Cameo enjoys gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family.
